Magnificent enamel work in both hunter green and raven black serves as the backdrop to scrolling and organic formations in the gold work of the locket pendant. Even the original bale exhibits more of the same.

Entirely in ebony and bright 15k gold, the reverse is decorated with feather-like wreaths of designs as if drifting in the wind. The date of 21 Sept. rests in the middle.

Opening to the side, the interior reveals a glass covered locket compartment with a green fabric interior (easily removed).
