French in origin, it is made in the same style, materials, and construction as those of the 18th century. Fortunately, we know its approximate date from the intricate and long-standing system of hallmarking in France.

Consisting of a collar or choker, with the original fittings for ribbons, a central floral panel, and a removable cross pendant, it is versatile and can be worn in several ways.

Of silver, rose gold over silver, silver, and fine black dots pastes, it is heavy and thickly constructed and has an outstanding presence.

Floral motifs still reigned supreme and the rose gold elements are hand engraved to resemble stylized leaves. The center is a flower and leaves, with the pendant also mirroring the leaf patterns.
