The striking combination of platinum, onyx, and diamonds made quite an impact on the jewelry of the Art Deco era and is still going strong today.
With a total diamond weight of 5.78 carats in a combination of and with a color of G-H and clarity of VS2-SI1, it is a glittering, sensuous adornment for the wrist. The design is unusual and is created with pure Art Deco sensibilities.
Twenty-four links (including the clasp) are varied and not the standard repetitive link-after-link arrangement. The variations form three cartouches with intricate patterns and designs for an ultra-sophisticated and wearable jewel.
The diamonds are set all in platinum and are a mix of marquise cuts, transitional cuts, with a few single cuts as the smallest. The count total 114 in all.
There are touches of petite calibre cut onyx for just enough visual contrast.
Superbly crafted, even the reverse is as beautiful as the front. The diamond bezels and setting are all treated with millegrain detail (beaded edges).
For a bracelet you won't see again, it retains a special aura that is unmatched. A safety chain adds additional security to the period bracelet.
