In solid 15k gold, this pendant locket holds eight photographs within wonderfully arched "windows." This is the first in our repertoire of jewelry in 17 years. Each is covered with the original glass.

In addition, two of the compartments display hand made artwork. One a hair snip painting and the other a sepia painting.

Two more paintings have faded over the receding years from the photographs that used to cover them. Faint traces of hand painted leaves and grasses still remain.

Fully engraved to the exterior, one side is adorned with symbolic grapes and their leaves as well as an overall background pattern. The other side is covered with an abstract design and a tiny forget me not flower in the center.

A realistic book hasp with more engraving closes the locket tightly. Dating back to circa 1860, this is a rare treat.
